Highpoint Health Partners and Cigna Healthcare Reach New Agreement

Following months of negotiations, we are pleased to share our medical group and affiliated practices and providers have reached a new three-year agreement with Cigna Healthcare.

With this new agreement:

  • Sumner locations—the hospital, Sumner Station, clinics and providers—remain in network with Cigna commercial plans; and,
  • Riverview, Trousdale, Winchester and Sewanee locations—hospitals, clinics and providers—will again be in network with Cigna commercial plans effective February 15, 2026. Until that time, these locations remain out of network.

We believe that our patients and community members deserve access to high quality care close to home, and we are glad this new agreement allows us to continue providing services for Cigna’s beneficiaries and advancing our mission of making communities healthier.
